Where is your project right now?
Fabricata Track turns your Tekla lists into a live project. Tick parts and assemblies through each workshop stage, and the tonnage, the stage progress and the schedule update themselves. No more retyping percentages into a spreadsheet on a Friday afternoon.
- Earned tonnesProgress by weight, never double counted
- Baseline · Forecast · ActualThree dates, none overwritten
- Tekla in, PDF outImport lists, export a client-ready schedule
Welding is 13 points behind Fabrication and is the main constraint. At the current rate the project finishes 6 working days after the baseline.
The schedule lives in Excel. The truth lives on the workshop floor.
Most fabrication schedules are a Gantt template with a progress column somebody fills in by feel. Dates are never re-forecast, so a job that is days behind still looks fine on paper, and the history is a pile of copied sheets named by date.
Typed-in percentages
"Fabrication 25%" means whatever the person typing it felt that day. Nothing connects it to the steel that is actually done.
Dates that never move
An activity at 25% with one day left still shows its original finish date. Nobody sees the slip until the client asks.
No history
Who changed the date, and why? A copied sheet per week cannot answer that, and it is exactly what a delay claim needs.
Every tonne is counted once.
Each stage in a workflow carries a share of an item's weight. A laser-cut plate goes through procurement and cutting and nothing else; a beam also gets notched, marked and drilled; an assembly is fitted, welded, fettled and released. Finish every stage and the item has earned exactly its weight.
- Stages that don't apply to a part are never shown as outstanding
- Part quantities can be partly complete: 65 of 100 plates cut is 65 of 100
- Assembly weight and its parts' weight are never added together
Built for the people who run fabrication projects.
Tekla import
Assembly lists, assembly part lists and plate lists straight from Tekla, or any Excel or CSV. Every row is checked before anything is saved.
Assemblies and parts
Parts belong to assemblies, marks are shared across assemblies the way Tekla numbers them, and loose parts stand on their own.
Configurable workflows
Beam preparation, laser plate, structural assembly, or your own. Assign the right route to each part, never a one-size-fits-all process.
A schedule that moves
Baseline, forecast and actual dates on one Gantt, by work package or by stage. Production progress drives it directly.
Delays with reasons
A missed date asks for a reason and a revised forecast. The original date stays on the record, with who changed it and when.
Client-ready PDFs
A schedule and progress report with your logo, your dates and the real numbers: fit to send to a client, a contractor or management.
One family of workshop software
Track sits alongside the Fabricata tools South African fabricators use to optimise their cutting, run their job cards and inspect their work. Each one stands on its own, so a workshop can start with the one it needs.
